Flying in the watchful faces of the UN, EU, and US, Iran announced it would continue its pursuit of nuclear technological development, including uranium enrichment.

At a nonproliferation conference, Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said Iran is ``determined to pursue all legal areas of nuclear technology, including enrichment, exclusively for peaceful purposes.''

Seeming to talk out of both sides of its mouth, an Iranian government spokesman in Tehran said nuclear activities would be resumed, but not enrichment itself.

Meanwhile, as Iran attempts to expand its nuclear capabilities, the Islamo-theocratic nation called on the US and Israel not only to dismantle their nuclear weapons, but also to enter into a treaty promising they won't use nuclear weapons on non-nuclear states.

U.S. delegation spokesman Richard Grenell snubbed the idea saying, "we want to be creative with the tools we have at our disposal."
