Today, a shootout began in Kuwait, leaving at least one armed ‘terrorist' at large.
An article at Reuters.com expands on this topic…
"Gunmen killed two Kuwaiti security officers pursuing them in the capital on Monday, hours after the U.S. mission warned that it had information of imminent drive-by attacks against Westerners.
"The embassy has learned that Kuwaiti security officials located the vehicle being used by a suspected terrorist... At least one suspected terrorist, known to be armed and dangerous, remains at large (after the gunfight)," the embassy said in a new advisory issued late on Monday.
"The two terrorists involved in the shooting may have been part of a larger group," it added."
One of the suspects, a wanted man by the name of Fawaz al-Otaibi, died in the hospital of his wounds he received from the shootout, two state security officers were also wounded in that shootout.
