The President of France, Jacques Chirac is urging that reporters do not go to Iraq; this comes after the disappearance of a French reporter.
Two individuals, Florence Aubenas ( a reporter) and Hussein Hanoun Al Saadi (Iraqi interpreter) have not been seen since Wednesday when they were leaving their hotel.
According to Tvnz.co.nz …
"It is not clear whether they have been kidnapped.
Their disappearance comes just over a fortnight after the release of two French journalists who'd been held for four months by Iraqi militants.
Chirac says the safety of war correspondents can't be assured in Iraq, and French authorities are formally advising against sending reporters there."
With all that is going on in Iraq, it might be a good idea to stay clear of Iraq.
