SonicWALL is taking it's security solutions to Europe. The company just launched European-language versions of its Continuous Data Protection (CDP) backup and recovery solutions.
Version 2.2 of all SonicWALL CDP solutions are available French, German, Italian, Spanish and English languages. According to a press release:
SonicWALL CDP is the only appliance-based solution available today that provides both onsite and offsite data protection for the small to mid-sized business (SMB) market. Available through SonicWALL's extensive worldwide channel network, this simple and effective secure backup solution enables users to avoid the complexity and inefficiency of tape while providing easy recovery of data in the event of disasters. SonicWALL CDP Version 2.2 is available in four models which scale from 15 to an unrestricted number of users: the CDP 1440i, the CDP 2440i, the CDP 3440i and the CDP 4440i...
The SonicWALL CDP series helps reduce business costs by enabling users to manage backup and recovery either onsite or remotely, without the need for manual intervention. Features include a simple user interface enabling fast retrieval of current and previous file versions, and reporting tools which facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements. The risk of permanent data loss is reduced because backup occurs on an ongoing basis rather than at fixed time intervals. SonicWALL CDP detects and automatically saves new or changed files in real time, even when files are open.
SonicWALL Continuous Data Protection business unit vice president Steve Goodman says "SonicWALL CDP is a unique and effective data protection solution, and we've made it even better by providing it in four new languages in order to reach more European and South American audiences."
