Symantec CEO John Thompson will be presenting at the Air Force Information Technology Conference (AFITC).
The conference will take place August 13-17 at the Auburn University Montgomery campus in Montgomery, Alabama.
Thompson's presentation will consist of discussion on protection elements and innovation for defense and commercial organizations.
Thompson is not the only member of Symantec that will be presenting at the conference. Ian Lowe, continuity systems lead for Symantec's Air Force team will deliver a presentation entitled "COOP: Building Resilient Data Centers".
Symantec senior director of product management Brian Foster will present one titled "Comply and Connect: Driving Network Capabilities and Security through Integrated Endpoint Management".
"IM Secure: Enhancing Instant Messaging Protection and Compliance" is the title of a presentation to be delivered by Andrew Burton the senior product manager for the company's Enterprise Message Management group.
And finally, Symantec's public sector principal systems engineer David McCulley will present "Accurate IT Asset Accounting and Tracking".
The conference's theme is "Dominating Cyberspace".
