In yesterday's news, Symantec warned of a a new JavaScript worm on the loose targeting a flaw in Yahoo Mail.

In today's news, Yahoo has issued a patch to stop the spread of this worm. According to MarketWatch, the company distributed the patch to all Yahoo Email users automatically.

The JS.Yamanner@m worm had been rated as a "level 2" threat and only spread to people with Yahoo email addresses.

It came with the from line "av3@yahoo.com", the subject "New Graphic Site", and the body "this is test".
