McAfee's next-generation consumer security service platform, code-named "Falcon" will be released this summer.
Falcon, which has been over a year in the making, is designed to provide a single access point that allows consumers to easily manage their McAfee security products.
"We know from our research and relationship with millions of consumers that PC security is confusing and complex to them," said McAfee Consumer Director of Product Management Marc Solomon.
"With the launch of 'Falcon' this summer, we have integrated into our award-winning products powerful, yet easy to use protection that addresses both existing and emerging threats," added Solomon. "For the consumer, we not only continue to stop the bad guys in their tracks but we will even be able sniff out and stop suspicious activity."
Among Falcon's impressive list of protective functions, is increased protection of wireless home networks.
Falcon will also offer a basic view as well as an advanced view of the user's PC security to compliment different levels of security understanding. More details can bee read in this press release.
