Anti-spyware Webroot Software has acquired former Symantec Chief Financial Officer Greg Myers. He has been appointed to the company's board of directors.
He will also serve as the Chairman for Webroot Software's audit committee.
"With his proven experience in finance and business transactions and his broad understanding of the strategic issues that face security companies, he is a tremendous addition to our board," said Webroot CEO David Moll.
He has over 30 years of financial management experience including worldwide finance, corporate development and business operations with Symantec.
