In Case A Standard Worm Wasn't Annoying Enough...

There has been a Yahoo! Messenger-related threat in the news the past few days involving a worm that installs a browser onto the victim's machine.

In fact, I posted a story on the worm, which was discovered by FaceTime, here yesterday.

I came across this ZDNet article about the worm, which links to screenshots at FaceTime's Greynets Blog. It also mentions that the "safety browser" that the yhoo32.explr worm installs plays music.

It seems as if threat creators are just trying to get as annoying as they possibly can. I have to hand it to them. They are doing a fine job at that.
