Apple fixed many flaws in its OS X operating system when it released last week's patch.

In fact, 31 vulnerabilities were corrected by Apple's third update of the year. Unfortunately, there are quite a few more that have not yet been addressed.

A researcher named Tom Ferris brought a number of flaws to the attention of Apple as well as the public last month, and some have been fixed, but according to Mr. Ferris, there are still some left.

According to InfoWorld, Ferris said that holes still remain in Safari, QuickTime, and the iTunes application, and he will likely publish details on the remaining flaws soon.
