Symantec and Visa International Asia Pacific have joined forces to offer VISA Business and Corporate cardholders in Asia promotional business packages for Symantec's small business Internet security solutions.
Cardholders have until the end of the year to buy Symantec Client Security 3.0 Small Business Pack through authorized partners in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Businesses, will no doubt make many consumers feel safer about shopping with them, with names like Symantec and Visa backing them. Though it is up to each business to responsibly keep its system updated.
"Small businesses need to be diligent in keeping their systems up-to-date with the latest security patches and solutions," says Symantec India Country Manager Vishal Dhupar. "Symantec is committed to helping its customers ensure that their data and information remains secure and protected no matter what happens."
According to CXOToday, the Asia Pacific region has about 277 million Visa cards, making up 62% of all credit card purchases.
