McAfee announced that its Host Intrusion Prevention (McAfee Host IPS) v.6.0 will be supported worldwide through its Deployment Assistance Program.

The Deployment Assistance Program is already available to customers and members of the McAfee SecurityAlliance.

The company's press release explains that the program provides customers and partners with remote support throughout the entire installation process, which helps to ensure the product is successfully tested, evaluated, installed and deployed.

McAfee says that the program will allow the security goals of customers to be met more efficiently and at a faster pace.
