The small to mid-sized business (SMB) segment is the target of a new network security solution from Wiresoft Net.
It's called the Sentry Security Platform and is described by the company as a "four-in-one problem solver" for its firewall, anti-virus defense, spam blocking and VPN connectivity.
Wiresoft's goal with the Sentry Security Platform is to provide SMBs the same level of protection as a Fortune 500 company.
The company is offering the service in one-year and three-year segments for $1495 and $1795 respectively. Wiresoft claims that that is with no hidden costs for larger numbers of users or upgrades.
Wiresoft's Automated Network Administrator (ANA) handles all operations involving Sentry through secure shell (SSH) protocol access. The ANA constantly monitors Sentry to ensure uninterrupted service.
Company officials say additional products and services will be made available to Sentry customers with no need for hardware modifications.
For those who will be in the Las Vegas area between May 2nd and 4th, Wiresoft will have a Sentry Security Platform exhibit featured at the Interop Las Vegas tradeshow.
