Almost every day you hear about data breaches exposing countless customers' information from various companies, banks, etc.

Well, more than 50 banks have now turned to Palisade Systems ands its PacketSure appliance to help prevent such an occurrence.
"PacketSure does an excellent job of enforcing both our bank's network security policy and protecting confidential client account information," says First National Systems Engineer Derrick Montplaisir.

On the other hand, most companies who experience these data breaches probably don't go around saying negative things about their appliances until the breach occurs. But, I have no reason to suspect that there is anything wrong with PacketSure.

It does feature the necessary controls and reports for staying compliant with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
