Making it easier for IT departments to automate and integrate their vulnerability management, McAfee has launched version 4.2 of its Foundstone Enterprise.
The latest version features regulatory compliance templates and the FS 850, a new zero maintenance, remote assessment appliance.
The FS 850 is said to be particularly useful for managed service providers who are responsible for vulnerability management on their customers' networks, or for geographically distributed organizations that are looking for a very cost effective and easy to deploy vulnerability management solution.
"With the launch of Foundstone Enterprise 4.2 and the FS 850 we are offering customers an easy-to-deploy solution to their risk management needs, and providing invaluable insight and visibility into the compliance status of networks related to five government and industry regulations," said McAfee vice president of risk management and product development, Stuart McClure.
The Foundstone Enterprise 4.2 update, which includes regulatory compliance templates, is available to all current Foundstone Enterprise customers under support.
