McAfee has made available its SecurityAlliance eXchange or MAX, which offers partners access to pre-qualified leads, renewal data and order status information.
MAX also serves as a collaboration platform for partners to manage McAfee opportunities and to communicate directly with the McAfee channel and sales account teams.
"As a McAfee partner for more than 10 years, we have witnessed the investment that is being made and are beginning to see results from the improved business processes," said Robert Webber, president and CFO of DynTek. "McAfee's commitment to its channel is very apparent with the launch of MAX and the increased functionality it provides." According to a press release,
MAX enables partners access to McAfee-generated sales leads and their customers' renewal data, which gives the resellers greater opportunity to up-sell and cross-sell their customers and prospects. Partners are able to request discounts and special terms, and monitor the status of their orders online. The shared visibility of this data offers partners a simplified business experience and increases their operational efficiency, resulting in a more profitable McAfee partner relationship.
The availability of MAX delivers on McAfee's commitment to empower its SecurityAlliance partners with a partner relationship management (PRM) infrastructure that is rich with valuable resources, including an online product recommender, product collateral, online sales and technical training, all of which are needed to support their customers and prospects. Partners need to secure business profitability and having direct access to McAfee enables them with the ability to offer customers the best solutions required to address today's ever-evolving security threats.
"Delivering this functionality globally is a significant milestone for McAfee and speaks to our commitment of making it easier for our partners to transact business with us," said Kevin Weiss, McAfee's executive vice president of Worldwide Sales, Services and Support.
"McAfee committed 12 months ago to becoming a 100 percent channel company with a renewed focus on our partners," he added. "We have invested heavily to ensure that our systems infrastructure could support our efforts."
