McAfee Participates At Gartner IT Security Conference 2005

McAfee announced its participation in the Gartner IT Security Conference 2005, which is being held June 6-8, 2005 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.
McAfee, which is attending as a Platinum sponsor, will participate in presentations that are designed to offer attendees insight into real-life security issues that are facing today's enterprises, while providing the steps necessary to address the challenges in an efficient manner.
-- Vincent Rossi, senior vice president of product management and product marketing for McAfee, Inc., and Stuart McClure, vice president of Risk Management for McAfee, Inc., will deliver a joint presentation titled, "Move to the Head of the Class-Take Control, Manage Risk," on Tuesday, June 7, 5:15 - 6:00 pm EDT in the Salon. This presentation will discuss how companies can better balance critical security pressures with the realities of balancing a business.
-- Vimal Solanki, director of product marketing, McAfee, Inc., will participate on a panel titled, "Managing Information Security," on June 7th, 1:30 - 2:30 pm EDT in the Maryland Suite. This case study presentation will examine the customer's initial security problems, the reasoning behind the selection of McAfee IntruShield as a solution and the results garnered since the initial implementation.
In addition, McAfee will be conducting live solution demos at the Gartner IT Security Summit in booth #408. McAfee representatives will be demonstrating leading-edge technology solutions for both network and system protection, including risk management and mitigation, host and network based Intrusion Prevention, anti-virus and anti-spyware and system security policy enforcement.
