BigFix And Senforce Form Enterprise Security Partnership

BigFix and Senforce Technologies announced a technology partnership to provide improved security and configuration management of mobile workforces for large enterprises and government organizations.
The increasing number of mobile employees across extended enterprises creates a critical IT management challenge in ensuring operational continuity and security. By 2006, two-thirds of U.S. employees will be mobile in nature, often working while on the road or from the home, according to IDC Research. Moreover, notebook computers are expected to represent roughly half of all PC shipments in the United States by 2007, IDC predicts.
Together, BigFix and Senforce safeguard mobile and desktop systems--ensuring corporate assets, software configurations and employee productivity are not compromised--by enforcing security and standards at all times through policy-based software configuration management. The integrated BigFix and Senforce solutions maintain endpoint security on mobile and desktop PCs even if the systems aren't connected to a network, and simplify enterprise-wide security configuration management within single departments or across global enterprises.

Senforce is the newest complementary technology partner to join BigFix's Assess, Remediate, Connect (ARC) program, which provides the framework for a comprehensive set of solutions to deploy, manage and enforce secure configurations on mobile, remote and guest computers.
