Reliable Integration Services announced that it is in the process of signing an exclusive arrangement with The Titan Corporation, a leading national security solutions provider, to deploy and manage Titan's Multi-Domain Security Solution (MDSS) for U.S. Department of Defense agencies.

MDSS is a hardware and software solution that enables agencies to more easily and affordably provide secure transport for multiple levels of classified traffic over the same network infrastructure.

In addition to Titan's MDSS, Reliable will demonstrate its new TRAVAIL application in Booth 1407 at TechNet International 2005, "Network Centric Operations: Balancing Speed and Agility with Security," at the Washington Convention Center May 17-19. TRAVAIL provides simple, Web-based interfaces for telecommunications circuit ordering, inventory and billing.

DoD agencies previously had to deploy separate infrastructures for each level of classified information to be transported across their networks. Titan worked with several organizations and commercial companies in developing a methodology that leverages commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) network components in safeguarding the integrity of classified information across a single optical backbone without encryption. Use of COTS hardware and software and converging multiple levels of classified information onto the same network backbone significantly cut an agency's initial and ongoing network costs. Titan's MDSS solution - which allows the transport of data, video and voice - has achieved Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) certification for transport of traffic classified as Secret, Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

"We are pleased to partner with Reliable Integration Services in bringing the unique benefits of MDSS to more agencies," said Ed Ohlert, president and general manager of The Titan Corporation's Continuity Assurance Group. "MDSS allows DoD Services and agencies to more simply and cost-effectively deploy their networks in the United States and globally. Marketing and supporting this innovative information assurance tool through a joint agreement has potential benefits for new and existing customers of both companies, and it supports Titan's near-term and long-range business planning through the development of a dependable Woman Owned Small Business partner."

Valerie W. Perlowitz, president and chief executive officer of Reliable added, "MDSS will offer important, immediate cost and scalability benefits for our DoD customers moving toward network-centric operations. Plus, Titan is showing ongoing commitment to these agencies by maintaining two development labs for continued research and development of the MDSS solution. We look forward to a close partnership with Titan in working to address our customers' evolving needs for affordable, secure connectivity."
