Ziff Davis Media announced that it will hold its first annual CIO Summit from June 26 to 29, 2005 at the prestigious Inn at Spanish Bay, in Pebble Beach, California.
The invitation- only event, produced by the editors of Ziff Davis Media's award-winning enterprise technology publications, Baseline and CIO Insight, will feature an all-star line-up of Chief Information Officers, CEOs and senior-level technology officers.
The three-day interactive conference, "Thriving in the Age of IT Vendor Consolidation," will provide CIO's from global 2000 companies with strategies to protect and maintain their technology investments during a period of unprecedented consolidation within the IT industry. This unique summit will address urgent challenges related to mergers, acquisitions and the shifting technology landscape. One hundred CIO's from Global 2000 companies will hear from the very executives who are driving consolidation in Silicon Valley and across the globe. Prominent corporate CIO's will also describe their own experiences with mergers, acquisitions and IT partnerships. Esteemed speakers will include:
