NetWolves has reached a milestone in the migration of its higher education customers into its NetWolves Enterprise Management Information System (NEMIS).
NEMIS enables NetWolves to provide a higher level of customization and detailed invoicing that is necessary for colleges and universities, including the company's current customers that are anticipated to contract for NetWolves' ASUREnet and other advanced services such as VoIP, Wi-Fi, and satellite broadband. NEMIS, which is integrated with NetWolves' Secure Remote Monitoring and Management (SRM2) system, provides highly specific management control and detailed visibility into customers' networks.
"As part of our growth strategy, we identified the higher education market as an ideal fit for our managed services business model," said Walter M. Groteke, chairman and chief executive officer for NetWolves. "The combined strength of our business model and proprietary technologies uniquely positions NetWolves to offer colleges and universities customized managed solutions that will enable them to not only reduce their administrative network costs, but also offer their students a range of high-demand services and applications."
