SOHOware Releases New Spam-Virus Firewall Appliances

SOHOware announced the release of BroadScan, a family of integrated Spam-Virus Firewall appliances that offers the best combination of performance, ease of use, affordability and standard features.
In response to extensive market surveys, SOHOware has found that today's integrated security gateways have limited features included as standard, requiring activation of multiple options to achieve true all-in-one functionality. The headaches to end users and VARs are manifold. First, ongoing subscription fees accumulate by as much as 5 to 10 times the initial cost of the device over 5 years. Second, VARs and end users feel trapped with endless feature and service options they must enable through separate upgrades. BroadScan redefines the SMB security appliance market by offering the industry's first subscription free business model with a comprehensive feature set included as standard.

BroadScan Spam-Virus Firewall appliances are available in desktop and rack-mount models suitable for offices from 25 to 500 users. Also available is WAN load balancing to insure ISP connection reliability. BroadScan is available in three models; the desktop 25 user gateway model SCN200 listing for $980, the rack mount 200-user appliance model SCN1000 listing for $2,980, and the 500-user appliance model SCL2000 that includes dual WAN load balancing and lists for $5,780.
