NetWolves announced that two post-secondary institutions have selected the company's Managed Services for Education offering, which was introduced to the higher education market in January.
NetWolves recently announced a unique business relationship with ECCI, an established telecommunications management company serving more than 250 colleges, universities and independent schools, which brought together NetWolves' experience providing managed network continuity and security services and ECCI's unique telecommunications applications. The resulting solution, NetWolves Managed Services for Education, provides the benefits of a multi-vendor solution on a single invoice. The solution includes voice long distance services, managed network security, Internet connectivity, customer care, long distance calling, customized calling cards, conferencing, and student and administrative billing.
"We are very excited about bringing NetWolves' advanced technologies and managed services to the academic community, which is a key element of our revenue diversification strategy," said Walter Groteke, chairman and chief executive officer for NetWolves. "We believe that our Managed Services for Education offering is unique in the higher education market, offering a tremendous range of telecommunications applications, from network continuity and security to the latest in Wi-Fi, satellite, and Voice over IP."
"We look forward to serving Loyola College and Eastern Nazarene College, and are pleased to be able to announce our first two new customers so quickly after introducing NetWolves Managed Services for Education," said Dr. Sherry Manning, president for NetWolves ECCI Corp. (ECCI). "The range of potential services we are now able to offer our member institutions is just what today's higher education institutions and their students are looking for."
NetWolves currently serves more than 250 colleges and universities in 43 states, including the University of Florida, Tuskegee University, Harding University, and West Virginia University.
