Today Vanguard Integrity Professionals announced the release of it's newest security software, Vanguard Security Solutions 5.3.
Vanguard Security Solutions provides customers with enterprise-wide security on demand in cross-platform environments. This newest release includes a new product, Vanguard ez/Token, a two-factor authentication solution that integrates token technology with RACF. Vanguard Security Solutions 5.3 offers more than 40 reporting, auditing and efficiency enhancements designed to meet the stringent.
"Through Vanguard Security Solutions 5.3, IBM customers running z/OS now have a true cross-platform model for security that extends the power of RACF to the entire enterprise," said Ronn H. Bailey, CEO, CTO and founder of Las Vegas-based Vanguard Integrity Professionals. "Vanguard will continue working with IBM to deliver the most secure software solutions to its joint customers."
"The Vanguard suite of products running on the IBM zSeries mainframe helps ensure that highly confidential information remains protected and accessible only to appropriate security clearance levels," said George Mitchell, Central RACF Security Administrator, Canadian Department of Defence. "The Canadian Department of Defence utilizes a cross-section of Vanguard products to create a centralized security system that allows us to easily monitor and manage our mainframe environment."
Vanguard security products include intrusion detection, user reset of forgotten passwords, single password enterprise sign on and a graphical user interface to RACF. RACF is the IBM security management product for the zSeries operating system, providing access to users who have authorization to use a requested computer resource.
