SonicWALL Adds To Board

SonicWALL announced the appointment of Charles (Chuck) Berger to its Board of Directors.
Berger, president and CEO of Nuance, a leader in the voice automation market, brings to SonicWALL three decades of experience in high technology. Prior to joining Nuance in March 2003, Berger was president and CEO of Vicinity, Inc., a leading provider of locations-based technology and solutions. Berger's previous CEO positions include AdForce and Radius. He has also held senior executive positions at a range of market-leading companies including Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, and Rolm.
Berger holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in business administration from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara.
"Chuck is a welcome addition to our board of directors," said Chuck Kissner, chairman of SonicWALL. "His experience with high-growth companies and background in innovative, growing technologies will be of significant value to SonicWALL as we move into new, high-growth markets."
