CloudShield Technologies and Prolexic Technologies announced a partnership to develop and deliver advanced network security solutions using CloudShield's open platforms.
Under the terms of the agreement, CloudShield and Prolexic will work jointly to expand Prolexic's network security applications offering and complement Prolexic's Border Defense Suite.
The new network security applications will be developed on the CloudShield CS-2000, an open platform specifically designed for network (packet processing) applications and services. The modular CS-2000 combines one or more programmable Deep Packet Processing Modules which provide the computing capacity and resources to perform complex packet operations in real-time, with a Pentium-based Linux server module for system and application management operations. Together these components provide 100% traffic visibility with complete packet analysis, transformation, and control for high-speed high-demand network applications.
"The CS-2000 opens application and business opportunities for Prolexic that complement our existing Border Defense Suite product line," said Darren Rennick, CEO of Prolexic Technologies. "CloudShield's platform provides the performance and the flexibility we require to ensure that we are able to quickly and effectively meet our customers' constantly evolving security needs."
"We are delighted Prolexic has selected the CS-2000 for their service delivery platform," said Rusty Cumpston, president and CEO of CloudShield Technologies. "We look forward to working with Prolexic and enabling them to grow their business and meet the needs of their customers."
