Rob Clyde, Symantec's chief technology officer, will participate in a panel discussion at the Forbes CIO Forum.
The panel, entitled "Security: Protecting Your Data In A Risky World," is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. EST at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
The panel discussion will focus on how companies can mitigate risks to their data and intellectual property on their computer networks in today's interconnected world amidst the growing threat of cyber crime.
As chief technology officer, Rob Clyde helps maintain the technology vision and strategy for Symantec. With more than 25 years of information security experience, Clyde is a recognized industry authority and is a pioneer in the development of intrusion detection and policy compliance products.
This year's conference marks the sixth CIO Forum hosted by Forbes Magazine, drawing together staff of the magazine and America's leading CIOs to examine today's critical information security issues facing enterprises of all sizes.
