Symantec announced that Brian Witten, director of government research for Symantec, will participate on two panel discussions at the 2004 Military Communications Conference held at the Monterey Conference Center in Monterey, Calif.
The first panel discussion, entitled "Techniques For Information Sharing and Security," is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. The second panel discussion, "Future Systems Architecture," is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 3, also from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m.
As director of government research, Witten is the primary liaison for Symantec Research Labs with public agencies and is in charge of coordinating efforts between Symantec and various government-supported information security research projects.
As the premier international conference for military communications, MILCOM attracts high-level attendance from government, military, industry and academia from around the world and gives industry the opportunity to promote communications technologies and services to commanders from all branches of the armed forces, Department of Defense, federal government, and the heads of multi-national forces from around the globe.
