Symantec will host a webcast offering information on how organizations can proactively protect their network.
The webcast, titled "Proactive Strategies for Securing Your Network," will be held on Thursday, October 28, at 9:00 a.m. PDT. Attendees can register here.
Frank Mong, director of product marketing at Symantec, will discuss how to implement solutions and best practices that can prevent or minimize network disruptions automatically and help organizations quickly restore mission-critical services if a disruption does occur. Topics covered in the webcast include:
-- Help ensure business continuity by defending against viruses, worms, Trojan horses, hackers, spam and more
-- Decrease the complexity of securing your organization
-- Allow the free flow of business-critical information between remote users and the main office while protecting your corporate network from external threats
-- Secure your corporate gateways, network segments, wireless access points, VPN connections and remote offices
"Today's complex, fast-paced threat environment requires organizations to implement proactive protection at all points of entry and within the corporate network," said Mong. "By implementing proactive security solutions, a defense-in-depth approach detects, prevents, responds and manages attacks from internal and external threats for better overall network security."
Mong will also provide an overview of Symantec's family of purpose-built appliances, which include a broad range of gateway and network security capabilities.
