Global Insurance Organization Deploys Inkra's Virtualization Technology to Enforce Regulatory-Compliant Security from the Edge to the Core.
CNA has selected Inkra's 1519 and 4000 series Virtual Service Switches (VSS) to be the foundation for a layered, defense-in-depth security strategy throughout its corporate network.
Inkra's Center Point management suite allows IT managers to provision, deploy, and manage all services from one console, significantly reducing the operational expenses associated with a large network security rollout. Services that once took several weeks to deploy can now be configured and implemented in a matter of hours, enabling IT staff to be more responsive to departments' business demands while greatly reducing the network downtime associated with turning up new services.
"CNA's layered security initiative is a perfect example of the growing trend among leading enterprises to take a more strategic approach to security," said Dave Roberts, co-founder and CTO of Inkra Networks. "Inkra's VSS platform enables enterprises to integrate and coordinate perimeter and core security, reduce costs, and show demonstrable evidence of compliance with a host of regulatory standards."
