Cirond is launching a new marketing campaign for its network security products that begins October 5, 2004 with a national television ad running on CNNfn during Lou Dobbs Tonight -- as well as Bloomberg Marketline and Report on Business television.
Over the coming months, Cirond will be doing further advertising for both its entire line of network security products through advertising across a broad range of media -- including newspaper, magazine, radio, online advertising -- as well as participating in a number of network security trade exhibitions.
"We believe the network security problems created by the huge growth in popularity of wireless network technology are massive -- and they put every computer network in the world under potential threat from criminals, hackers and even terrorists," said Cirond CEO and President Nicholas Miller. "We will use our marketing campaign to alert businesses and government organizations of the fact that even the presence of a single wireless-enabled laptop computer can create a security flaw that can be exploited to carry out identity theft, steal corporate information or copy viruses onto corporate or government networks. We offer a unique set of solutions designed to correct these flaws and prevent unauthorized access to computer networks. We believe that these advertising initiatives should produce a strong growth in sales of these newly-announced products."
The October 5, 2004 debut of the television ad will air at the following times:
CNNfn - During the "Lou Dobbs Tonight" show - between 6 PM and 7 PM
Bloomberg Television - During the "Bloomberg Marketline" show - between 1 PM and 2 PM
Report on Business Television - During the evening of October 5, 2004 (times vary depending on time zone)
