Joined By Top-Tier Consulting Partners, These Security Vendors Will Conduct a Five-City Tour To Speak With Fortune 1000 Senior-Level Security Executives.

Preventsys launched a seminar series entitled "Enterprise Security Management: What's Your ROI?" that will demonstrate to senior-level security executives how to build a measurable security process and calculate where their security dollars can make the most impact. Preventsys' technology partners, Application Security Inc. and eEye Digital Security, will also present in the series of breakfast meetings that kick-off today. Each meeting will also have a security professional from the risk or security management group of a top-tier enterprise consulting firm.

Attendees will learn first-hand how to objectively determine the return on investment (ROI) for all of their IT security initiatives. This executive networking event will be held in five major metropolitan cities across the U.S. and is intended specifically for CISOs, CSOs and CIOs tasked with the challenge of reducing their security risks and getting the most from their security budgets.

Preventsys has brought together leading security professionals to discuss how to:

-- Measure enterprise security posture across the organization and recognize ROI

-- Implement a strategic security process to make intelligent budget decisions

-- Manage security across the entire network and unify existing security tools

"In the security industry, a seminar series such as this is unique in that attendees will hear from major league consulting companies and the top technology vendors in a single two-hour session," said Tom Kuhr, vice president of marketing for Preventsys. "As organizations face more targeted attacks, chief security officers are simultaneously being tasked to defend their networks and also their budget decisions. This seminar series presents a much-needed, business-centered approach to measuring the pay-off of enterprise security investments."

The invitation-only seminars kick off in Washington, D.C. on Monday, Sept. 27, and then hit New York on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at the top-rated Carlyle Hotel. The next will be held in Chicago on Wednesday, Sept. 29 and the fourth seminar will be held in Dallas on Thursday, Sept. 30, at the Mansion on Turtle Creek. The series will wrap-up in San Francisco on Friday, Oct. 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel. Each seminar will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 10 a.m. Breakfast will be served at each of the events. There is no cost to attend, but the event is invitation-only.

"As attacks become increasingly professional and focused, risk profiles change and thus so must security investment,'" said Ted Julian, vice president of marketing at Application Security Inc. "We are pleased to contribute to a seminar that not only illuminates today's changing threat environment, but also shares best practices for tying strategic security initiatives to corporate objectives."

"This seminar is less about the technology itself and more about helping security executives better understand how a proactive security program can help an organization's bottom line," stated Firas Raouf, eEye's chief operating officer. "eEye's extensive experience with FORTUNE 500 clients enables them to leverage our best practices to derive maximum value from their vulnerability management infrastructure."
