Network Intelligence has earned a top score in Forrester Research's new Security Event Management TechRankings.
Network Intelligence received the best score in the cost category, which considered average sales price, minimum license cost, maintenance costs, pricing structure and hosted pricing model.
According to Forrester's September 2004 report Scorecard Summary: Network Intelligence's Engine Running enVision v.2.003, "Making the most of an extensive reseller network, Network Intelligence is the most successful security event management (SEM) vendor you've never heard of. The company has been in business eight years making event management software, and now it's enjoying success in its line of SEM appliances. Its product, enVision v.2.003, comes neatly packaged with the best event storage and searching features, making it desirable for small, medium, and large organizations that would rather not have an army of engineers and DBAs managing the product."
"Forrester's TechRanking provides an incredibly deep level of lab testing. By giving SEM solutions such intense scrutiny, Forrester is able to truly evaluate products' total cost of ownership - from securing hardware for software systems to the cost of professional services to get the SEM product up and running," said Matt Stevens, president, Network Intelligence. "We are proud to be recognized as the most cost effective SEM solution on the market."
Network Intelligence's products enable customers to capture, analyze and manage raw security related data, transforming it into actionable business intelligence. The Network Intelligence Engine SEM appliance is particularly appealing from the end-user's perspective because of its powerful correlation capabilities, plug and play deployment and scalability. The appliance creates a complete picture of network usage, to verify security policy compliance, generate alerts for possible security breaches and analyze and report on network performance.
The Network Intelligence Engine comes in three product lines that are sized for successful implementation in SMB markets, enterprise markets and within MSSPs - the EX series, the HA series and the LS series, respectively.
