Blink Receives Clear Choice Designation in Competitive Review with a Broad Array of End-Point Security Products.
eEye Digital Security today announced that the company's end-point security software Blink received the Clear Choice designation in Network World magazine's competitive review of end-point security products. In the review, Blink bested end-point security products from Check Point/Zone Labs, F-Secure, InfoExpress, Sygate and Symantec.
All products were evaluated across four primary criteria: policy management; setup, deployment and documentation; reporting capabilities; and attack defense capabilities. Blink was singled out as the winner of this competitive review specifically " ... because of its solid reporting and hybrid approach to client defense." eEye received a total score of 4.13 from Network World's testers, while the next closest competitor scored a 3.5. Interested parties can view the entire review in the September 20, 2004 issue of Network World and on Network World Fusion, at.
"We are particularly excited to have received this validation of Blink's innovative approach to protecting enterprises," stated Firas Raouf, eEye's COO. "Blink is another example of how eEye's vulnerability research prowess is being leveraged into enterprise-ready security solutions that benefit our growing customer base."
