FrontGate Systems today announced the immediate availability of its new FrontGate ESS-HF perimeter security solution designed specifically for the Hedge Fund and Alternative Investment community.
With this release, FrontGate has bundled its latest and most sophisticated Enterprise Security System (ESS) into a form factor designed to meet the unique security requirements of Hedge Funds and small- to medium-sized asset managers.
Designed to address the extensive connectivity associated with Hedge Funds' trading, analytic, market data, and extranets operations, FrontGate ESS provides complete security and management technology. FrontGate's ESS-HF firewall and market data management solution enables Hedge Funds to easily and cost-effectively secure and manage all of their market data, trading and Internet connectivity available as a turn-key solution designed to deliver sophisticated enterprise-level security technology in a package that fits the needs of hedge funds.

The FrontGate ESS-HF systems support up to 12 external connections including all trading connections, FIX connectivity, market data services, and the Internet - including multi-cast based services. Fully redundant ESS-HF implementations start at $19,900 configured with a 2.0 GHZ 64-bit processor, dual 24-port market data-side switches, and a FrontGate ESS-HF software license for up to 12 external service connections. This fee includes base systems install plus the migration of one market data or trading service such as Bloomberg. FrontGate ESS-HF systems are deployed as a completely managed service including implementation and 24x7 management and monitoring.
