iPolicy Networks and igxglobal announced today that the specialized security solutions provider has added the complete suite of iPolicy Networks' Intrusion Prevention Firewall systems to its exclusive list of security tools and offerings.
Together, the companies will offer Fortune 2000 enterprises next generation security solutions that address their high-performance, scalability and network management requirements.

Under the terms of the agreement, iPolicy Networks and igxglobal will together provide comprehensive network security solutions to igxglobal's extensive network of Fortune 2000 enterprises primarily in the Northeastern region of the United States. As a security centric VAR since 1997, igxglobal has the expertise, team of engineering talent, and 24x7 remote management capabilities to deliver dependable data security, while serving to improve the functionality and performance of the enterprise.
iPolicy Network's Intrusion Prevention Firewall goes beyond traditional access control and delivers a comprehensive set of firewall defense mechanisms. A key innovation of its architecture is iPolicy's patent pending Single Pass Inspection Engine that has the ability to perform high speed layer 3-7 inspection of traffic for real-time attack prevention and enforcement of security policies. It enables iPolicy Networks to successfully block today's increasingly sophisticated threats, with no compromise to network performance, both data throughput and latency. iPolicy Networks' Intrusion Prevention Firewall incorporates multiple firewall defense mechanisms including stateful firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, DoS and DDoS mitigation, URL filtering, VPN, and antivirus/antispam intrinsically built into the firewall, thereby eliminating legacy firewall security holes.
