Datacenter Ventures Conference To Feature Breach Security CEO

Breach Security today announced that John Payne, its chief executive officer, will speak at the Datacenter Ventures Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
The event will be held on Sept. 21 and 22 at the Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City, Calif.
Payne will deliver two presentations on Breach Security's business strategy and comprehensive solutions, including the newly released BreachView SSL decryption enhancement for existing intrusion detection systems. Payne will also discuss how the company's expanded suite of application security appliances offers organizations, large corporations and government agencies a new kind of truly deployable and affordable defensive application security. Because change is inevitable in application environments, any deployable application security solution must learn from application behavior. This adaptive technology is non-intrusive, and does not impact the operation or service levels of the network.
Attendees will also hear how this unique approach enables security professionals to monitor and control the use and abuse of applications, databases and the Web presentation layer, dramatically reducing security risk.
Payne has more than 20 years of technical and management experience in the public software technologies and security industries. In addition to his role at Breach Security, he serves as chairman of Preventsys, a venture-backed San Diego-based provider of network security software and as chairman of SimpleAir Inc., a wireless intellectual property holding company. Prior to Preventsys, Payne served as CEO of two public software technologies -- Day Software, a leader in the enterprise content management market, and Stamps.com, where he led multiple private and public financings. Payne is a regular speaker at industry and trade conferences and holds multiple U.S. Patents in the areas of wireless Internet broadcasting and data communications.
