GO Software announced its first annual Security & Emerging Technologies Conference, Nov. 10 - 12, at the Savannah DeSoto Hilton in Savannah, Ga.
This forum for POS software companies will examine card association security programs and provide attendees with the knowledge needed to ensure application compliance.
The two-day conference features industry experts from American Express, Discover, Federal Bureau of Investigation, MasterCard, Visa and IHL Consulting. Speakers will cover issues relating to electronic payment security and emerging technologies, addressing all of the major card association's security regulations, trends in electronic payment fraud, firewalls, operating system and network security, dynamic currency conversion, radio frequency identification (RFID), and retail POS trends.
"Many software providers and merchants don't understand the potential risks associated with electronic payments. Our goal with the Security and Emerging Technologies Conference is to spark dialogue between merchants, vendors and the card associations to help create a more secure payment processing environment," said Tony Abruzzio, EVP and general manager, GO Software. "Educating industry players on the key issues paves the way for overall industry progress, and bringing everyone together under one roof sets the stage for collaboration."
Interested parties can register for the event on GO Software's Web site. Chase Merchant Services and SonicWALL are the event's premier sponsors.
