Yankee Group Research Positions TruSecure as an Early Leader and Pioneer in the $3.7 Billion Security Risk Management Market.

TruSecure Corporation, the leading provider of intelligent risk management and compliance products and services, today announced that The Yankee Group named TruSecure as an "early leader in security risk management," a market that's expected to grow to $3.7 billion by 2008. The Yankee Group evaluated more than 25 managed security services providers (MSSPs) and interviewed more than 400 end users before making this determination.

"This report confirms what we have been hearing from our customers worldwide--TruSecure possesses the only fully integrated, managed security services on the market. TruSecure's solutions are derived from a unique blend of proactive risk reduction combined with real-time security management, monitoring and response which assures continuous security of critical business information assets," said John Becker, CEO of TruSecure Corp. "We intend to maintain this market leadership position through continued investments in R&D, operations and customer service."

The Yankee Group report evaluated MSSPs on the breadth of their offerings and ability to execute. In the report, Vice President Matthew Kovar concludes, "The Yankee Group has identified that the real intellectual property for the security is in advanced algorithms, intelligence and the ability to rapidly deploy new security countermeasures in real time to a large installed base of enterprise customers and their global networks. This results in the industry moving away from a hardware-driven model and toward a software- and people-driven model. The need to stop zero-day attacks and stay ahead of the hacker curve will drive enterprises to choose MSSPs with the most experienced security gurus to help the enterprises thwart the next new threats."

"With our investors, marketplace participants, the federal government and hackers watching your every move, it is important to be proactive and cover all of your bases," said Jeff Nigriny, chief security officer at Exostar - a joint venture of BAE SYSTEMS, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Rolls-Royce. "With TruSecure, I have the confidence that when things happen we are prepared and then some."

Becker concluded, "The Yankee Group report is more evidence of TruSecure's leadership. We've introduced the first end-to-end risk management program, which was the first information security standards compliance program and have the industry's best track record in protecting our clients from attacks. As a result of the intelligence that we collect, analyze, distill and deliver, the average TruSecure customer has a security control in place one year prior to an attack, is alerted to potential issues six months prior to an attack and suffers an average of 95% less financial impact than matched-control Internet-facing organizations."
