Komodo announced that the company's unique email services are being tested internally starting this week.
Komodo is a ground-breaking Internet security firm with an emphasis on secure e-mail and a focus on internal testing and the filing of multiple, proprietary patents in advance of full public exposure.
"The company is very excited about the preliminary results of our test trials," states Gordon Muir CEO, of Komodo. "Spam and viruses are costing the corporate world billions of dollars in lost productivity, wasted bandwidth costs and wasted man hours."
Mr. Muir further states, "With the company's security measures fully implemented Komodo's proprietary email system will totally eliminate spam, spreading viruses and Identity theft via phishing, one of the biggest security issues on the net today. It is the intention of the company to file a series of multiple patents and then allow beta testers from outside the company to test our system before any public exposure."
The latest efforts by the Can-Spam Act (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing) have had little impact on spammers, reports the BBC News. The US leads the way with 43% of all spam originating in the US -- and pornography spam topping the charts now up by almost 350% .
