Symantec today announced that Brian Hernacki, security architect for Symantec Research Labs, will participate in a panel discussion at the Information Systems Security Association's (ISSA) Annual Joint Security Symposium for the Orange County and Los Angeles County chapters.
The panel discussion, entitled "Vulnerabilities: When Discovered and Announced," is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 9, from 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. PDT at the Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach, Calif.
The security symposium is a joint effort hosted by both the Orange County and Los Angeles County chapters of the ISSA. The ISSA is the largest international, not-for-profit association specifically for security professionals. It provides educational forums, publications and peer interaction opportunities that enhance knowledge, skill and professional growth. Members include practitioners at all levels of the security field in a broad range of industries, such as communications, education, health care, manufacturing, financial and government. Registration is required for the public to attend.
