Aladdin Knowledge Systems today announced that it has become a corporate sponsor of the Alliance Fellowship offered by the University of Fairfax, a non-profit graduate institution in the US specializing in advanced information security degrees.
The Alliance Fellowship is a unique offering that enables online students to concurrently earn Masters or Doctorate degrees in Information Security and an MBA. These students -- most of whom bring years of hands-on experience in the information security field to their studies -- can prepare for executive careers by developing a unique combination of information security and executive management competencies.
"We are pleased that Aladdin Knowledge Systems is actively promoting excellence in the security industry by sponsoring the Alliance Fellowship," said Dr. Victor Berlin, President of the University of Fairfax. "Organizations facing rapidly accelerating and changing information security and information assurance challenges increasingly seek C-level executives capable of handling both the complex business and technical issues involved, which the Alliance Fellowship addresses."
Stephen Axel, vice president of global marketing for Aladdin Knowledge Systems, concurred. "Aladdin is building a global reputation on a solid foundation of excellent security products, superior support, and absolute attention to how security can support the business needs of today's organizations," Axel said. "We're proud to be able to work with the University of Fairfax to give something back to the information security community as we continue to grow our business."
