MidNet and ENMAX Envision have signed an agreement to establish a Network Security Assurance Center at Envision's data centre in Calgary, Alberta.

The Center will be operational in late September 2004.

The Network Security Assurance Center will provide a venue for corporations, government, industry associations, and standards bodies to test the capabilities of The Middle Network, to ensure the privacy of network connections and data security, and to assure the protection of subscribers from data theft and vandalism. Subscribers to The Middle Network will be able to connect through local loops provisioned by ENMAX Envision.
