Radware Unveils Security Service Response To Mydoom-S

Radware, a provider of Intelligent Application Switching (IAS), announced the immediate availability of protection against Mydoom-S.
Mydoom-S is a mass-mailing worm that uses its own SMTP engine to propagate to email addresses found on the host. The worm arrives as an email, and tempts the user to open an attachment. The worm also installs a backdoor who results in excessive traffic on the network and a degradation of network performance.
