This week, Google launched its redesigned site that included many new features integrated into the search engine. One such addition is Google's personalized search.
This allows users to was designed to give users the ability to specify their interests by creating a profile, and to return customized results based on the interests defined by the user.
Of course, no new service is without bugs to work through. Although it is still in its testing phase, an error was reported yesterday that should cause Google to reconsider its parameters.
During a feedback session about Google's personalized search, one user found that Canada was not included as part of the search refining process. As reported in Silicon.com, "on the list of areas to which you can limit your search there is no entry for North America - only one for United States." Meaning that you can't refine your local search to include Canada.
According to GoogleGuy, Google is working on re-adding Canada to the world community now.
