GlobalSpec Introduces The Engineering Web

GlobalSpec, a specialized search engine and online resource for engineers announced the launching of the "The Engineering Web" earlier this morning. The launch comes after major site enhancements.

Designed to have more powerful search functionality and deeper engineering content, The Engineering Web focuses solely on searching engineering-related information.

The major enhancement that GlobalSpec added to its search engine is the ability to search the hidden web for engineering information.

Current engines search about 16% of the web, whereas GlobalSpec's give users access to application notes, patents, material properties and standards - exclusive content not available on any other search engine.
