Vanishing Messages In Outlook Express

When I ran disk cleanup and selected "all" after I clicked "cancel," it deleted all of my messages from Outlook Express. I want my messages back - can you help me please?
Hi,
Outlook Express messages cannot be deleted using the Disk Cleanup tool in Windows. You may be infected with a virus or unknowingly pressed a key while within Outlook Express or were manually deleting files through Windows Explorer for this to occur. Without back-ups of data, the only alternative is very expensive hard disk recovery services, which typically run in the thousands of dollars.
