Two government websites, one county level and one state, were found to be infected with malware, according TrendMicro. Both infected sites lured victims to other malicious webpages with the promise of a nude celebrity.

San Bernardino County's probation page was found to have been injected with malicious frames directing users to "a known disease vector," as TrendMicro's Ailene Dela Rosa put it, under the domain videosdivx.net with URL string "KATRINA+HALILI+NUDE."
That indicates, but doesn't prove, obviously, the hackers in question hail from the Philippines. Katrina Halili is a Filipino actress recently tied up in a sex tape scandal. Well, don't know if she was actually tied up or not.
TrendMicro alerted San Bernardino County to the problem and waited for the site to be cleaned up before posting about the problem.
A similar problem was uncovered farther north in Washington State. Same sex scandal starlet, different technique and destination. The state's information portal, Ask George, had been injected with a script redirecting to a "sexy pic" of the Halili at a supposed video site with a name similar to popular "tube" sites.
While one might see an occasional Trojan on a tube site, this one distributes malicious Trojans via fake codecs, specifically, TROJ_DLOAD.TID and TROJ_COGNAC.J. Washington's Ask George site has since been cleaned up as well.
