The company plans to host a webcast to address customer questions about the security bulletins on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pacific.
Those wishing to view the webcast will have to register in advance; afterwards, it will be available Microsoft Security Bulletins and Webcasts webpage.
The update will address flaws, all labeled critical, Windows, IE, .NET, Framework, Office, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Windows Media Player, and Microsoft Office.
Microsoft says they'll be staying mum about what kind of vulnerabilities will be revealed and the patches they require until next week.
In order of severity, they list Media Player, Windows, Windows Media Encoder, and Office as the umbrella categories corresponding to the above affected software.
Microsoft also says they'll release an updated version of Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool on Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services, and the Download Center.
