Not that you would, but don't get all excited about an email from MSN about has-been pop starlet Madonna in a new sex tape. The link leads to (whodathunkit?) the wrong kind of Trojan.

The email comes with the air of legitimacy, but is the latest in a string of spam sporting legal language from Microsoft about why the target is receiving the message-an opt-in mailing program, of course, complete with Microsoft copyright and corporate head quarters address.
Subject line: Video Madonna XXX!!!
That's a subject line straight out of the foreign spammer's handbook, though, even if the rest of it comes with some copy-and-paste legitimacy. Might as well say Virus Trojan .EXE !!!
They've picked an interesting subject, too. A Madonna sex tape? Pretty sure I saw that in the Nineties, and it was gross, then.
Anyway, Sophos identified the link as malicious, leading to a file called madonna.avi.exe, and says decent antivirus software should catch it as the readily identifiable Troj/FakeVir-EW.
"Troj/FakeVir-EW has to be the latest example of the vogue for criminal gangs to try and scare innocent computer users into making unwise purchases after displaying bogus security warnings," writes Sophos's Graham Cluely, who'll give you a Sophos t-shirt if you're the first to find all the Madonna songs in his blog post. "This is something to remember next time a beautiful stranger appears to send you a link to an apparent erotica video."
